Official Statement – MindOut

MindOut for the Laughs was a great success this year, with some really wonderful performances from a fantastic line-up.
However, some of the material in the acts did not meet our guidelines for performers. We ask all performers to make sure they are not racist, misogynistic, transphobic, biphobic or homophobic, that they honour all of our communities and that they are scrupulous in how they do this.
Once someone is on stage, their performance is their responsibility.

MindOut would like to apologise for any offence caused by acts this year, and for any associated distress. We would like to assure everyone that the views of the performers are not MindOut’s views.
