Mind's Policy and Campaigns team

The Policy and Campaigns team is split into two sections - one involving mental health services and the other concentrating on social rights and inclusion.

The team promotes and coordinates Mind's national campaigns and policy work and supports local groups and individuals in their campaigning activity.

The Policy and Campaigns team provide:

• information materials on Mind's current campaigns and how to campaign locally for change in mental health
• advice to local groups
• support for members of Mind in Action, Mind's network of campaigners
• Mind in Action magazine, a regular comprehensive campaigning newsletter.

Campaigning in Parliament

Mind's Parliamentary Officer coordinates Mind's Parliamentary network and works with members of the Houses of Parliament on mental health campaign.

Mind's press office is involved daily in mental health campaigning and can advise and assist local groups on their contacts with the press and media.
